I am a 22 year old conservative activist from Fairfax County. I have been heavily involved in the fight for conservative values and candidates since 2008.

In 2010, along with Mike Ginsberg (then the 8th District Republican Committee Chairman) and Chris Marston (then and now the Treasurer), I founded RetireJimMoran.com. The site was made to expose Jim Moran’s record of disservice to the 8th District and report on the stories about him that the media refused to cover.

At the 2014 8th District Convention, I delivered a report on the success of the website:

From 2010 to his retirement in 2015, I tirelessly reported on Jim Moran’s latest outrageous comments and actions. I went to his events and filmed them – again, covering stories the media wouldn’t. I even called in to a radio show he was on to confront him about his corruption. I also compiled Moran’s Greatest Hits, an extensive record of Moran’s most infamous comments and actions going back 20 years. A few of the biggest stories that I broke that otherwise would not have been covered include:

» The time Jim Moran said his 2010 opponent, a 27 year Army veteran, hadn’t “served or performed any kind of public service.” The video I released went viral and received tens of thousands of views online, and it was covered on Fox News, WTOP, NBC, Fox Business Network, and numerous other notable outlets.

» Jim Moran’s town hall incident, where – who could forget – he screamed at a disabled Navy veteran, telling him to sit down or leave his event. The video I recorded and put online went viral, getting over 100,000 views and getting covered on Fox News, MSNBC, The Weekly Standard, the Washington Examiner, Hot Air, RedState, and numerous others.

» Jim Moran’s pay-to-play schemes, where he secured taxpayer-funded earmarks for people and companies who donated to his campaign.

» Jim Moran’s duplicity on the Mark Center on I-395, which he initially praised, then loudly condemned, while accepting campaign cash from the companies who built the Mark Center and made millions off the deal. I called into a radio show that Jim Moran was on and challenged him live on the air.

» Jim Moran’s attempt to rig the 2012 Democratic primary by trying to prevent a challenger from qualifying for the ballot.

» Jim Moran’s claim that Republicans who opposed President Obama were racists. I was interviewed live by Doc Thompson of WRVA Radio in Richmond on the story.

These are just a few of the dozens of stories I covered at RetireJimMoran.com. The site received tens of thousands of hits, and my work was featured on Fox News, Fox Business Network, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, WTOP, the Weekly Standard, National Review, the Washington Examiner, Hot Air, RedState, TheBlaze, the American Spectator, the Laura Ingraham Show, Michelle Malkin, Daily Kos, Daily Caller, and many other mainstream, liberal, and conservative outlets.

In 2010, I received the Republican Party of Virginia’s Best Volunteer Award for the 8th District at the RPV Advance for my work on the RetireJimMoran.com website and my other volunteer work for local Republican causes and candidates:

I have run the 8th District Republican Committee website for over 5 years, making frequent updates to keep Republicans across Northern Virginia informed and involved. I designed and built the current Fairfax County Republican Committee website. I have also done websites for Fairfax County GOP Chairman Matt Ames, Fairfax County School Board Member Elizabeth Schultz, and others.

I have worked tirelessly on behalf of Republican candidates here in Northern Virginia, from Congress down to school board. I have gone door-to-door, made phone calls, put up signs, and more for countless candidates. In 2011, I worked as a staffer on Chris Marston’s campaign for Alexandria City Clerk. In 2013, I organized a group of 40 students from my college in Ohio to travel to Virginia to work on behalf of Ken Cuccinelli the weekend before the election, and we knocked on over 4,000 doors for Cuccinelli.

I was the president of my high school’s pro-life club, where we tripled the number of students going to the March for Life, and I also made a pro-life speech to the entire student body.

I worked as an intern for the Susan B. Anthony List, one of the leading pro-life groups in the nation, for three years.

I am the president of the Young Americans for Freedom club at my college, working to inform and involve the almost entirely conservative student body in politics. In 2014, we registered 250 conservative students to vote in the midterm elections. We have brought in speakers like Rick Santorum, Fr. Frank Pavone, Ryan T. Anderson, and others. This year, we are preparing to make our biggest push yet to register conservative students to vote in the 2016 elections.

I am a proven and tireless conservative activist. I don’t show up just for presidential years, I do the important volunteer work needed to advance our candidates, values, and beliefs. I am asking for your support to continue advancing our candidates, values, and beliefs at the 2016 National Convention.
